At Sacred Transcendence we understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. If something comes up when you have an appointment, please give us a call or shoot us a text to inform us of your inability to make your appointment. It is our desire to be fair and effective for all of our clients as well as to be considerate of our therapist/teacher's time we have adopted the following policies:
24-hour cancellation
In most cases, we require a 24-hour cancellation for any appointments, classes, and workshops. This allows for the appointment or seat in a class/workshop to be offered to other clients. In the event that you cancel less than 24 hours, you will be charged $25 (50% of services scheduled starting January 1, 2025) for any services (massage/energy work/craniosacral therapy) or the price of the class/workshop you signed up for upon your next visit.
No-show appointments/classes/workshops
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to not show for their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show”. They will be charged for their “missed” appointment ($25 or class/workshop fee) (50% of services scheduled starting January 1, 2025), and future service will be denied until payment is made.
After three (3) less than 24-hour cancellations or no-show appointments you will no longer be able to book appointments, with any of Sacred Transcendence’s team. In the event that you have a package with us, we will mail you a check for the remainder of the amount on your account with an itemized receipt of services rendered as well as the deduction ($25)(50% of services scheduled starting January 1, 2025) from your missed appointments.
Illness/Poison Ivy/Poison Oak/Poison Sumac
In the event that you have a scheduled appointment and wake up ill, or have poison ivy/oak or sumac don't hesitate to get in touch with our office to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This helps keep our team and other persons in our community safe. Please inform our office that you are ill or have one of the aforementioned dermatitis and we will happily waive the less than 24-hour cancellation fee.
Posture Assessment/Intake
Here are Sacred Transcendence we pride ourselves in taking holistic wellness to the next level by providing each massage and bodywork client with something called postural assessment. This includes taking 3 postural assessment images of you in front of a posture grid. These images are kept private in your specific SOAP note. We require all clients for massage and bodywork to arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment (service) time for intake. Intake is performed before each session. If you arrive at your appointment less than 10 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time, the practitioner, and Sacred Transcendence reserve the right to shorten the scheduled session to honor the time restraints of other patrons.
Minors (Birth - 18 years old)
We love having children join us for services, classes and workshops! We require a parent or legal guardian to attend the child’s first service with us. Legal guardian must fill out and sign any and all paperwork for their child. We also have a release form for all legal guardians to sign in addition to intake forms giving Sacred Transcendence’s Team the okay to work with their child even if the minor is of driving age and come in on their own.
Injections /Vaccines/Botox
These are known as localized contraindications to massage. If you are scheduled to come into our office for massage or bodywork services, please note that the injection sites will not be worked on as this can decrease the effectiveness of your treatment. If the injection site is in the area you need work on, please reschedule your appointment. injections sites require a 72-hour wait period after injection before receiving bodywork.
Surgery
Surgery is sometimes required, and we practice on the side of caution by requiring a signed document from a medical doctor before receiving massage and bodywork services after and any all surgeries.
Fitness Packages
All fitness packages expire 60 days after the date of purchase. It is the responsibility of the client to keep track of the expiration date. If your package has expired you have forfeited your right to redeem the remainder of the package. All sales are final.
Product and gift card return policy
All sales on physical and electronic gift cards and products are final. Please note that all gift cards have a 5-year expiration date which you will no longer be able to redeem.
