Rachel Tice
Holistic Wellness Practitioner, LMT, Yoga Instructor
As a Myomassologist and Yoga Instructor I have taken many medical based classes on my journey to gain a deeper level of understanding the human anatomy and how it works. Some of the massage techniques that I implement into my practice include: Prenatal/Labor Massage, Side Lying Massage, Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage, TMJ Dysfunction, Energy Balancing, Chakra Balancing, Reiki, Shiatsu, Lymphatic Drainage, Sports Massage, Stretching, CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release.
For each and every session I create a massage tailored specific to each individual based on their life style, medical history and any previous injury to help facilitate the client's self-healing process. With my background in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology I possess the ability to assist my clients in increasing range of motion, restore relaxation and decrease stress. I strive to provide each and every one of my clients with the best possible massage depending on your current health condition.
Yoga has been a passion of mine for many years even prior to me knowing what Yoga truly was. I have practiced with Stephanie Manor and Natalie Guy-Hazard in 2014. I have also practiced at Starseed Yoga with Leah Slagenwhite and Linnie Briley in 2017 and Reyna Trevino in 2017. I have also participated in many Yoga events around Southern Michigan. I had the opportunity to take the Foundations course through YogaFit in January of 2017 and started implementing Yoga into my massage client “homework.” In September of 2017 I started teaching Yoga for Intelligent Exercise Jackson (Coterie Jackson) and have learned how to lead a class tailored to the student needs. I have completed my RTY 200 through YogaRenew in November 2022, as well a Breathwork Teacher Training and Dementia Chair Yoga trainings in 2022. I am continuously learning and enjoying sharing what I have learned with others.
